This Super Spacenet, with its mesh size of 58 cm, spans a sports field. The ground net belonging to the Spacenet at the same time forms a dome over the sports field, and acts as a net to catch the ball.
Playing in the giant rope net above the dome has an extraordinary attraction all of its own. Additional built-in membranes can be used as Seats in the net, and also serve as climbing help.
With its tight meshing of 13 x 13 cm the dome is turned into a grandstand with views which cannot be experienced in any other way. Because of the dome net, the fence normally needed to keep balls in is superfluous.
The dual purpose of the area, as a sports field and as rope play equipment is of great value in particular in urban areas where space is at a premium: it means far more play area in many locations where this is already scarce.
The spacenet, with its overall mast height of 14,50 m is probably the highest climbing net in the world.
